Our History

We started our business in 1983 as an A/V and wiring company for homeowners who desired a seamless appearance of their home theater and sound systems.  In the 90s, our creative wiring techniques were in high demand for the installation of alarm systems. As the A/V industry continued to evolve, so did Atrex with the evolution of  IoT devices and smart home integration, we now proudly provide these services along with central station monitoring for thousands of customers throughout Suffolk and Nassau Counties.
